
Alicorn Inc. (CEO Minhee Cho), a company that provides smart space management solutions using AI and IoT technology, announced on the 6th that it has been selected for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Foreign Company Attraction and Discovery Program, accelerating its entry into the Japanese market.
Alicorn, under the brand name ‘Alicorn,’ offers smart space management solutions based on AI and IoT technologies. This solution facilitates efficient management of various spaces such as offices, fitness centers, warehouses, and hotel facilities. In Korea, many companies, including GS Group, Shinhan Investment Corp., and Spoany, have already adopted Alicorn’s solutions to enhance operational efficiency. In Japan, it is being introduced in warehouses, sports facility operators, and hotels.
Recently, Alicorn was selected for the Foreign Company Attraction and Discovery Program organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
This program supports foreign companies’ entry into Tokyo, providing various benefits, including grants, to selected companies. Since May this year, Alicorn has also been part of the K-Startup Center Tokyo’s startup support program, managed by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, receiving extensive support. Through this, Alicorn is receiving practical assistance in various areas, including office space provision, corporate establishment, interpretation, translation, and business development.
Minhee Cho, the CEO, stated, “This selection is a recognition of the global competitiveness of our technology,” and added, “We plan to further expand our business in the Japanese market by collaborating with local partners, leveraging the support from the K-Startup Center Tokyo and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.”
